***LATEST NEWS*** All recorded plans are now indexed! Registry staff have been very busy entering data from over 20,900 plans recorded here at the Registry of Deeds from 1840 to date. Not only are all the plans indexed, but you can now search different parameters. Searches are available for the following: Owner Subdivision name Street Surveyor/Other Local detail of note. The Local option allows for searches of geographic detail, i.e. Lake Winnipesaukee; Saco River; Boston & Maine Railroad; Original Town Layout; Town Line; cemetery, etc. We hope this enhanced search proves useful to researchers.

The Registry of Deeds office is open to the public, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The recording counter closes at 3:30 PM daily.

Please click on the Searching Records link for important information about searching Carroll County records. Please note: As of January 1, 2022, companies with numeric names are indexed using the actual number. Prior to this time, you have to spell out the number.

Documents are received for recording at the office, as well as electronically and via common carrier (UPS, FEDEX, USPS). Remember to bring blank check(s) for payment.
